The estate of Jérôme impresses with three key features: absolute seclusion, finally an outdoor area that truly provides enough space for everyone, and the small river that flows right alongside the charming Mill House. Upon arriving in the quaint French village of Clamecy, you enter the estate through a gate that reveals not only its size but also the breathtaking beauty of its old trees. The small river creates a wonderful atmosphere—a truly lovely place to enjoy cozy summer evenings with a great group of friends. So far, we've visited in late summer and autumn, and we even got to enjoy the pool.
The kitchen and large grill provide everything needed for a delightful culinary experience. Aside from doing the big grocery shopping, we didn't engage in many activities; instead, we spent the whole day cooking with a glass of wine in hand. In addition to the main house, the guest house offers extra space. The furnishing style is simple and quirky, reflecting the care and love that has been put into it. The decor of the rooms appears somewhat eclectic, and the bathrooms are a bit dated. However, this does not detract from the experience of this place—once you've been there, you definitely want to return!
