Casa Scaparone ·

For our wedding, we wanted to spend an unforgettable weekend with our closest friends and family. One thing was clear: it had to be Piedmont, somewhere we could easily reach by car. And then, there was my perfectionism—finding the perfect venue that already had style, from the chairs to the dinnerware, was no small feat. We didn’t want a typical wedding with red roses and white tablecloths. We were looking for a place where we could truly make our mark, somewhere we could inject our own vision and personality.

Casa Scaparone turned out to be the perfect mix of rustic charm and top-notch professionalism. This agriturismo can be rented exclusively for weddings or events, and sometimes individual rooms are available for booking. It doesn’t feel like your average, overused wedding venue with its tired clichés. From the moment you arrive, you can sense the passion the team puts into this historic estate. The details are full of character and history, beautifully preserved, and each room is a little adventure of its own—nothing cookie-cutter about it. The venue’s size was just right: cozy enough for 65 guests and 15 kids, but still spacious. Around 50 people could stay on-site, and for the rest, there’s a lovely alternative just a 5-minute walk away at Agriturismo da Mamma.

The place is a bit of a maze, which made it even more special—so many little corners to discover and gather in. One of the highlights is the on-site flower studio. Alessandra is an absolute artist, and I’ll never forget how, on our wedding day, we worked together to craft my bouquet in that gorgeous atelier. It was such a personal, beautiful moment that will stay with me forever.

  • The upper terrace at Casa Scaparone offers a breathtaking view of the vineyards. On Friday, as our guests arrived, we kicked off the weekend with a pizza party fresh from the wood-fired oven—a perfect start to the celebrations!

  • There are plenty of activities for wedding guests to enjoy. After breakfast on Saturday, some of our guests headed to Alba for sightseeing, others went on a scenic walk with picnic baskets, and a few others kicked back at a fun pool party.

  • The weeping willow at the back of the estate is absolutely stunning. That’s where we held our ceremony, and afterward, we strolled together to the main courtyard for the aperitif and dinner.

  • Carolina recommended an amazing Italian live band—Gemelli del Gol—who truly brought the italianità to the evening. They were fantastic and added an extra dose of Italian flair to our celebration!
